In Los Angeles, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in California, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

No hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times. The listed phone number is (213) 503-8135. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.

Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 50 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded plant nurseries in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Los Angeles is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The reviews are spot on! I've been looking all over So Cal for a mango tree that is grafted specifically with Kiett variety. Jackpot! I connected by phone with Yosar, so patient! I had lots of questions, & he sent photos of his product before I made the drive. He met me in front of his property with a parking spot waiting! Once in the backyard I was mesmerized by the huge variety of trees. My mango tree was absolutely perfect! And what a great price! A very healthy, lush avocado tree then caught my eye, but I knew that it took two varieties for proper pollination. I chose a Reed avocado and on the spot he grafted a second variety onto the tree. Magic!!! It was a Father's Day gift for my husband, and he was thrilled! The care and attention that this man takes for his product is amazing! He grafts trees and then sells them to larger nurseries, who I'm sure have a huge price point. Don't hesitate to connect with Yosar for any tree needs! I'm very grateful I found him.
